Running all over Croydon and beyond since 1986
At the end of the run there is a reward, you will be able to look around the famous Borough Market and treat yourself to some delicious pickings to eat and drink. Remember to top up your Oyster Card and bring money for your treat.
Meet at the Sandilands clubhouse at 09.00 for a 9 mile run through Croham Hurst, Littleheath Woods, Addington Park, Sparrows Den, Threehalfpenny Wood and Shirley Church Road. There will be the opportunity to shorten the run to approximately 6 miles by peeling off at the bottom of Gravel Hill or making it a 7 mile run by leaving at Addington Park and returning via Spout Hill.
This is a scenic run along the Thames path (so very flat) passing through Putney and Barnes, and finishing at Kew. Return by train to East Croydon via Clapham Junction.There is an opportunity to shorten the run at Barnes (6.5 miles). Loo stop at McDonalds by Wandsworth Bridge.
There are 2 options for those who want to go further, it may well depend on who turns up, 8 miles to Kew (short walk to station) or around 10 to Richmond.
So everyone runs to Barnes Bridge (station with trains back to Clapham Junction literally across the road). There are coffee shops very locally so bring cash for refreshments. Also, ensure you've got something to put on and stay warm after the run as it's two trains back to East Croydon.
Meet at Sparrows Den Car Park, Corkscrew Hill, West Wickham BR4 9BA
The run will go through the park towards Addington Road, up to Selsdon, through the woods and back to start.
Distance about 6 - 6 1/2 miles.
Meeting Point: Seldson Nature Reserve off Farleigh Road, South Croydon.

Duration: 6/7 miles, bit of a hill to start but mostly flat through the woods
This run which is 7.5 miles is one of our favourites. It is flat along the Wandle River to Merton Abbey Mills. Loos half way and at the end. This is a great run to try if you haven't run this distance before as you can get the tram back along the route if you run out of puff. We will make sure no one is left behind.
We ususally have refreshments at Merton Abbey Mills before getting the tram back. Bring your Oyster card or money for the tram and money for refreshments at Merton Abbey Mills.
A very scenic route through Beddington Park, Carshalton and Morden Hall Park.
Meet:- 09:00 Wandle Park Tram Stop to depart at 09.05
This run is 8 miles.Meet at the Grant Road exit at Clapham Junction station at 09.00. For those travelling from East Croydon there is a train at 08.44. This is a scenic run along the Thames path (so very flat!) passing through Putney and Barnes, and finishing at Kew. Return by train to East Croydon via Clapham Junction.There is an opportunity to shorten the run at Barnes (6 miles).
Meet at the club house at 09:45 for a 10:00 start. Distance approx. 6 miles
For those who would like to do the run and not the full distance there is a shorter distance (5 miles) in which you can run to Sainsbury Warlingham and back to Seldson Nature Reserve. The run is mainly road and there is loo stop at the Garden Centre in Warlinghan.
Meeting at East Croydon 9.00 catch the 9:15 train to Clapham Junction and exit Great Road. If you wish to make your own away we will meet at Clapham Junction Grant Road entrance at 9:30, remember to bring your Oyster and change for treat at the end.
Meet either for a 9.30 departure from Clapham Junction (Grant Road exit) OR to get on the train which LEAVES East Croydon at 9.15 to Clapham Junction.
Bring money for hot chocolate and goodies in Borough Market. It's a flat run following the Thames, after Battersea Park, on the Thames Path (so in this case paved), distance 6-ish miles.
Arriving back at London Bridge short walk around Borough Market and then short jog to Blackfriars to East Croydon to go home.
